Guolian Minsheng Securities notes that diesel generator sets, as core equipment in data center power redundancy systems, play a crucial role as the "last resort" for emergency backup power.

Recently, one company has been rolling off the production line at approximately eight units per day, double the number seen in the same period last year. 30% of these units are high-power diesel generator sets for data centers. By 2025, the domestic market for diesel generator sets for data centers alone is projected to reach nearly 10 billion yuan, a growth of over 100% compared to 2024. This shortfall has also led to price increases. For example, the market price of a domestically produced 1,800-kilowatt high-power diesel generator set has increased by 10%-15% year-on-year.
